Well, this past Saturday we officially registered for our wedding gifts at Bed Bath & Beyond and Target. The experience was a bit frazzling, and my mom was probably right when she said we should've made a list. But that day we were just winging it alot like we do our dates sometimes. No plan is sometimes the best plan :) Anyway...first we went to BB&B and registered for all sorts of things - cutting boards, hampers, sheets, a juicer....throw pillows of course. We had a lovely assistant to help us go through the store with the scanning gun (which Jon was in charge of) and select the best items for our home and I think we did a pretty good job. Next, we went across the street to Target filled out all our information and scanned some more! Jon registered for an Ipad and TV (clearly a guy and clearly a marketing major) :)
This was such a fun experience, and I would have never wanted to do it with anyone other than him. We were both completely pooped at the end of the night.
My mom, of course was one of the first people to comment on the photo on facebook:
Mom: Hope you are practical about this.
Mom: Towels?
Mom: Pots and pans?
Jonathan: Well I did scan a Big screen TV! lol
I LOVE HER :)....and yes, now we have pots and pans registered for.
